How to Convert MXF to AVI for Playback freely


MXF, short form for Material exchange Format, is a container format (Like AVI) for professional digital video and audio media defined by a set of SMPTE standards. MXF is fairly effective at the interchange of D10 (IMX) material and is used by more and more professional camcorders like Sony XDCAM, Panasonic P2 502, HVX200, Canon XF300/XF305, etc. to store video, audio, and programmed data. How to convert MXF to AVI ?

Step 1 launch the program on your PC. Click on the "Add File" button which is available on the bottom left side or drag and drop MXF files here.


Step 2 After adding files in the software interface, select the output format AVI or any other format from the 150+ available formats.


Note: Aside from converting MXF files, you can directly play MXF files in the software interface because it also works as a player.

The Guide to Convert FLV to WMV and Import into Windows Movie Maker

Step 1. Click "Add File" to import your FLV or drag and drop it


Step 2. Select your editable format for WMM by selecting "Windows Movie Maker" from "Editor". If you want to convert AVI files for portable device, but you don't know which formats your device supports, you can simply select any format in the category of your device.
